FURTHER CONDITIONS:
This will act as a Consolation race for The KOTM, subject to eligibility, with the top five rated accepted and QTIS registered horses still remaining in the field at the acceptance deadline time for KOTM (Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at midday) being automatically nominated for, accepted into and declared as emergencies in the KOTM. Should a horse in the KOTM field be scratched prior to scratching deadline the slot holder from The KOTM will at their sole discretion choose a replacement runner from the nominated emergencies. The selected runner must then assume the place of the scratched horse, and this runner will be automatically scratched from the Consolation. Any horse accepted in the Consolation and which is also an emergency in the KOTM can only be scratched from either race with the production of a veterinary certificate and the permission of Stewards, and, if scratched, will automatically be scratched from both races - Rule LR36(9) is not applicable.
